The integrated high-quality phono amp allows you to connect the BDT 2500 to the line input jack of any mixer, preamplifier, receiver, or mini-system. Since most recent consumer playback gear omits a phono jack, this is a particularly useful feature. The preamp also offers a simple way to get your analog signal into your computer in order to digitize your vinyl collection. A bypass switch lets you use a conventional phono input. Separate main and fine pitch controls, allow you to set the speed from 16rpm to 98rpm with no gaps. Hence any vinyl format can be played. The static balanced “S” tone arm system draws on Vestax’s professional designs. The heavy-duty metal chassis minimizes feedback and vibration. A power switch is located on the top panel for ease of use. Not intended for skratching.

최근 진공관 오디오를 사용하는 매니아가 부쩍 늘고 있습니다. 그 이유는 진공관 오디오가 트랜지스터 오디오에 비해 음악적이라는 측면도 있지만, 트랜지스터와 달리 개별 진공관에 따라 특유의 음색을 가지고 있기 때문 입니다.
또한 제조회사에 따라서도 음의 특색이 다르므로, 매니아의 취미 활동의 폭을 넓여 줄수가 있습니다. 진공관 오디오는 원형이 30-60년대 빈티지로서, 그 자체의 불빛을 가지고 있어서 오디오 매니아의 향수를 자극하고 있습니다. 특히 장년층 매니아는 과거 젊은 시절의 향수를 가지고 있는데, 진공관 오디오를 통해서 음악 자체 뿐만 아니라 과거의 추억을 되살린다는 것입니다.
그러나 진공관 오디오는 트랜지스터 오디오에 비해 관리 하기가 어려운 편 입니다. 특히 진공관의 일부 품목 만이 지금까지 생산 되고 있을 뿐, 대부분 과거 80년 이전에 생산된 재고 제품이 주류를 이루고 있어, 그에 따른 수급 문제가 가장 큰 골치거리 입니다. 따라서 진공관 구입 및 취급에 세심한 주의가 필요 합니다.
